(Almost) Spring 2020 Update!

Signs of spring have started to show up which means CUKC is buzzing with excitement for spring paddling! We have a lot of exciting events coming up.

This Saturday, March 7th, we are hosting our first ever POOLYMPICS from 7:40-9:10! This event is FREE and open to paddlers of all skill levels. Events include hand paddle race, most rolls/kart wheels in a minute, hand roll or swim, and more! You must sign up ahead of time at https://forms.gle/1Y93v8AAu16c4emd8 Note – there will be no lessons this week as the entirety of the pool will be used for the event.

There will be three more regular pool sessions to help get everyone ready for the sunshine and whitewater! Don’t miss them!

The Rideau River Race will be happening sometime at the beginning of April, weather and water level permitting. It’s a great opportunity to showcase our amazing sport right on campus. Stay tuned for more info!

SAVE THE DATE!!! Spring Trip will be held the weekend of April 24th – 26th. You must have your flatwater roll to attend, so make sure to come out to the last few pool sessions to perfect it! More details to come.
